Sprout Cafe is one my favorite lunch spots if I happen to be in the Palo Alto Area. The location is conveniently located near a coffee shop. Parking can be hard to find but its totally worth it. My favorite salad is the Davy salad. I have tried other salads there but thats the one I always go back to. The ingredients always taste fresh. The focaccia bread is a nice added touch. If you are in the mood of something quick and easy, give Sprout Cafe a try. Its also a really cute place, love all of the greenery. The staff is always friendly, patient and efficient!
Super good! I used to come here for their sesame ginger salad dressing years ago and glad I remembered this spot. The burger was also super tasty and the chicken noodle soup. They now serve you at your table. They also have a lot of outdoor seating now so we were able to bring our dog.
This place is a gem for quality of food and price. The service was quick and the presentation was great. Both dishes were ordered were delicious and would definitely come back to try more. Service is super friendly and the place is clean casual and can be a work spot.
The best dining experience - truly delicious and never overrated, with exceptional customer service. Every visit has been outstanding. My personal favorites are the Lamont Egg Benedicts, the chicken and waffles, and their perfectly crispy fried potatoes.
Since I've last visited, Sprout has a revamped menu and ordering system. If I recall correctly, you used to order at the counter and pick up your food there, and now they drop it off. They have also added brunch items on the weekends like waffles and french toast. The clipboards for custom salads are still utilized. The nice thing is that the menu tells you which salad dressings fit diet restrictions, like vegan and gluten-free. Some of the dressings seem to miss a few denotations, but at least I had an idea of which ones didn't have any sneaky fish sauce. The number of toppings for custom salads is actually massive - nearly overwhelming! Which is nice after Sweetgreen always claims they have a "new" salad and then swaps out only one ingredient. The pricing of toppings, and especially premium toppings, is a little strange. Here's an example. Fried onion vs. crispy shallots have an 80 cent difference and are not in the same category. The foccacia that comes with the salad is really yummy. It's much better than the included bread that Sweetgreen offers. My tofu salad was very good, and they honored the swaps that I mentioned. My friend liked her custom salad but wanted a little more of each topping. The fries remind me of how In n Out cooks them. Pretty crispy. They also come with an interesting curry ketchup. There are a few tables outdoors with plenty indoors. The restaurant felt pretty quiet on a Sunday around 1:30 PM, respective to the number of people downtown PA. Overall, there are lots of topping options here, and some new brunch options are always with solid food!
Amazing service and the food was fantastic. I had the ribeye steak for breakfast and every bite was a delicious morsel making my mouth water in anticipation for the next bite. I'm not normally a salad person but the frisée salad was pretty tasty. There was no room to eat the mochi waffle. Haven't had a great breakfast in a long time.
I've come to Sprout multiple times over the years. When I came in recently, I felt like the interior really got a facelift. Much more modern/refreshed decor and seating. Same tasty salad combos as well as the option to build your own. The staff was helpful and they put together my order so quickly. This was a great option to carry out for a picnic at Heritage park.
Came in for lunch and this place is super trendy. Very modern and spacious, but parking will be tough as it is mostly side streets, but there are public lots around. Ordered the Rocky which was good and very hearty. The only thing I wish they asked was if you wanted it tossed. Being the portion is fairly large it was a bit hard to mix it myself in the bowl, but very good value for the money and fresh. Service was prompt, but this place can get busy so maybe order ahead for pick up. I did have to ask for another dressing as the the on you are given on the side is fairly small.
Great service. Usually order for take-out and they have always gotten my order correct. I usually get the Salmon Club Sandwich because it's one of my favorites in the menu but today, I decided to try the Tuna Nicoise Salad (w/ added carrots and rice noodles [paid extra]). Both are so delicious! Love the ingredients put into both these entrees. I also love the Strawberry Chia Fizz drink. It's a great refresher!
Delicious red lentil soup and the zucchini soup paired with sourdough levain toast. Definitely a must try in cold weather. Service was super quick and ambiance is unique and spacious. The staff was kind to give is two free cookies for taste.
